Men's Soccer Rolls Past UDC

GREENSBURG, PA. -  Colin Watson and Henrik Berg scored early in the first, and Alex Dyson put it away late in the second half as the Griffins rolled past the University of the District of Columbia, 3-1, at Dick's Sporting Goods Field in Greensburg.

• Seton Hill now stands with a record of 2-0-1 on the year, their best three-game start to any season since the statistic started being tracked in 2008.
• The Griffins avenge the 2-0 loss to the Firebirds in 2017.
• SHU scored on all three of their shots on goal.
• The game's only Save came in the 87th minute, when SHU's Austin Iddon saved a shot from UDC's Gabriel Torres.

// FIRST HALF
•  Colin Watson gave Seton Hill the lead when he took a free kick from just outside the box and bent the shot around the UDC wall and goalkeeper. In the 21st minute, Henrik Berg's penalty shot fooled the Firebird goalkeeper to give Seton Hill a 2-0 lead.
• Malik Thom would cut the deficit to 2-1, when he received a Gabriel Torres free kick inside the box and went underneath Austin Iddon's dive.

// SECOND HALF
Alex Dyson put the game away with a goal from Tormod Simonsen in the 76th minute.
