GREENSBURG, Pa. – The Seton Hill University softball team split a conference doubleheader with California University of Pennsylvania, dropping game one by a scored of 3-2 in 9-innings before winning game two by a score of 2-1.

• The Griffins broke a scoreless game when
Paige Hertzog homered to field field to give SHU a 1-0 lead
Top of the 6th
• Wilson's sac fly with two strikes got Cal on the board and tied the game at 1-1

• Wilson registered another RBI with a single to left center that scored Sachse and gave Cal a 2-1 lead
Bottom of the 7th

Brooke Bower's double to right field with nobody down scored
Ashley Boehm from second, but the Vulcan right fielder threw Greco out at home plate and Bower was thrown out at third trying to stretch the play
Top of the 9th
• Price's double to left field scored Wilson from first, giving Cal the eventual game-winning run.

The Griffins are now looking at a 10-game away stretch with conference doubleheaders at Slippery Rock on April 13th, Edinboro on April 14th, Indiana University of Pennsylvania on April 17th, Mercyhurst on April 21st, and finally Gannon on April 22nd.
