WINTER PARK, FL - The Seton Hill University women's lacrosse team fell to #13 Rollins College in their final non-conference game of the season, 14-8, Friday afternoon in Winter Park, FL.

Seton Hill slips to 1-3 overall on the season while Rollins, who upset 10th ranked Queens on Tuesday, improves to 5-2 overall.

Katelyn Cressman had two goals to lead the Griffins. Keagan Pontious, Nellie Phillips, Savannah Monroe, Mackenzie Kilduff, Courtney Pontious, and Olivia Caragein all had goals on the day. Monroe added a game-high two assists.

Hannah Ashton got the scoring started less than four minutes into the contest with an unassisted goal at 26:39 to give Rollins a 1-0 lead. Savannah Monroe answered for Seton Hill just 16 seconds later when she scored off of an Emma Haley assist to knot the game up at 1-1. Rollins would score three straight before Katelyn Cressman and Mackenzie Kilduff scored in at 20:21 and 16:47  to put SHU back in striking distance, 4-3. After a Tars goal at 8:28 made it 5-3, Keagan Pontious scored from a Monroe pass to cut the deficit back to one, 5-4, with 5:01 remaining before half. However, Rollins would get two unanswered goals and increase their lead to 7-4 heading into the break.

The trend continued into the second half with Rollins scoring back-to-back goals to start the period, but goals by Seton HIll's Nellie Phillips and Olivia Caragein at 25:04 and 19:10 bring the Tars lead to just three, 9-6. Hannah Ashton would score for Rollins at 15:55, but Courtney Pontious found the back of the net just over a minute later to make it 10-7. However, the Tars would outscore the Griffins, 4-1, the rest of the way on their way to the 14-8 win.

For the game, Rollins outshot Seton Hill 32-19 overall and 24-16 on goal. SHU committed 22 turnovers while the Tars gave away 15. The two teams were even in draw controls, 12-12. SHU's Hailey Jacobs had 10 saves in the loss.
