Seton Hill made the trip across the state to take on undefeated West Chester on Saturday afternoon. West Chester jumped out to a 10-1 halftime lead and cruised to a 16-3 victory over the Griffins. SHU falls to 2-5 overall and 1-2 in PSAC play while the Rams improve to 7-0 overall and 2-0 in PSAC action.
West Chester scored the first five goals of the game to take the 5-0 lead with ten minutes to play in the half.
Savannah Monroe got the Griffins on the board at the 9:06 mark of the half off a pass from
Katelyn Cressman to cut the lead to 5-1. The Rams then scored the next five goals before the half to take a 10-1 lead heading into the halftime break.
The Rams then scored the first six goals of the second half to build their lead to 16-1 before
Ellie Uecker and Monroe scored in the final five minutes for the 16-3 final.
Alexis Petrarca assisted on the Monroe goal.
The Griffins return to action on Wednesday when they host Bloomsburg.
