Seton Hill made the trip to Edinboro, PA on Tuesday afternoon looking to snap a four game losing streak. The Griffins jumped out to a 5-1 halftime lead and cruised to an 11-4 road win. SHU is now 2-4 on the season and 1-1 in PSAC play.
Brooke Lawrence opened the scoring just 3:01 into the contest off a pass from
Mackenzie Kilduff. Goals from
Jaclyn Frank and Kilduff just 24 seconds apart pushed the Griffins lead to 3-0 just over six minutes into the contest. SHU went over twelve minutes before scoring again before Kilduff made it 4-0 with her second goal of the game.
Olivia Caragein answered an Edinboro goal with one of her own with six minutes to play in the first half to give SHU a 5-1 halftime lead.
The Griffins scored the first four goals of the second half to push their lead to 9-1.
Katelyn Cressman opened the scoring just twelve seconds into the second half. Just over four minutes later,
Nellie Phillips pushed the lead to 7-1. Lawrence and
Taylor Fox-Trudel scored just over a minute apart to give SHU a 9-1 lead. Cressman and Caragein scored the final two Griffin goals.
