Seton Hill traveled to Indiana (PA) for a PSAC contest on Tuesday afternoon. The Griffins cut the lead to 2-1 but IUP scored the final two goals for a 4-1 victory. SHU is now 0-8 overall and 0-2 in PSAC play.
The Crimson Hawks opened the scoring just 3:08 into the contest. They followed that up with a goal just 1:16 later to increase their lead to 2-0. IUP took the 2-0 lead into the halftime break.
Caitlin Bray cut the IUP lead to 2-1 with a goal just over three minutes into the second half. She scored off a scramble in front of the cage. Just over five minutes later, the Hawks increased their lead back to two at 3-1. They closed out the scoring in the 55th minute.
Emma Jorgensen finished with 10 saves in the first half.
SHU will host Mansfield on Saturday afternoon.
