GREENSBURG, PA. - Emma Jorgensen had seven saves, but the Griffin offense struggled to break through in a 3-0 loss to Mansfield University in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference field hockey action Saturday afternoon at Dick's Sporting Goods Field.
// NOTABLES
• Seton Hill now stands with a record of 0-9 (0-3 PSAC) on the year.
• Emma Jorgensen ranks 3rd in Division II in Saves per Game and 15th in Save Percentage.
// FIRST HALF
• Mansfield's Meghan Griffin scored the opening goal in the 30th minute of the contest. After received a corner from Larissa Motts, Meghan's sent a shot in to the teeth of the defense. The ball then rattled off a defender and eventually found its way into the net to give Mansfield the 1-0 lead.
// SECOND HALF
• Mansfield would push the lead out to 3-0 with goals from Motts (37th minute) and Christia Buyer (43rd).
• Seton Hill would generate some chances in the second frame, garnering four shots on goal. But, it wasn't to be as the Griffins fell by a score of 3-0.
