Seton Hill hosted Mercyhurst on Tuesday afternoon at Dick's Sporting Goods Field. The team's were scoreless at the half but the Lakers scored four times in the second half for a 4-0 victory.
Neither team was able to find the back of the cage in the first half.
Emma Jorgensen made four saves in cage for the Griffins in the half. The Lakers outshot the Griffins by a 6-2 margin in the half.
Just over six minutes into the second half the Lakers took a 1-0 lead. Ten minutes later they extended their lead to 2-0. The Lakers scored two more goals in the second half for the 4-0 win.
Jorgensen finished with 9 saves in cage.
The Griffins will head to West Chester this weekend for a pair of matches. SHU will play Lindenwood on Saturday and West Chester on Sunday.
