WEST CHESTER, PA. - Caitlin Bray gave Seton Hill an early 1-0 lead, but it wasn't to be as the Griffins fell to #10 Lindenwood, 5-2, in a non-conference women's field hockey game played on the campus of West Chester University.
// NOTABLES
• Seton Hill now stands with an overall record of 0-10 on the year.
• Emma Jorgensen grabbed 12 saves in the loss. This is the fifth time Jorgensen has eclipsed the 10+ saves plateau in a game.
// FIRST HALF
• Seton Hill struck early with a goal from Caitlin Bray off of a Wynnsome Gadson assist in the 4th minute to give SHU a 1-0 lead.
• Bridget Hoogendijk's goal in the 6th minute of the game tied the game at 1-1 - a score that would last well into the second half.
// SECOND HALF
• Jessie Londono gave Lindenwood a 2-1 lead with a goal in the 44th minute. Hoogendijk followed up with back-to-back goals in the 49th and 51st minute, and Kaitlin MacLennan's goal in the 57th minute pushed the Lindenwood lead out to 5-1.
• Wynnsome Gadson scored an unassisted goal in the 62nd minute, but the Griffins couldn't keep pace as the game ended, 5-2.
