Katie Kimmich scored in the 79th minute, but it wasn't enough as Seton Hill fell to Slippery Rock, 2-1, in Pennsylvania State Atheltic Conference women's soccer action on Wenesday afternoon at James Egli Field at Slippery Rock University.
The loss drops Seton Hill's record to 6-3-1 overall and 4-3-1 in PSAC. Slippery Rock improves to 5-3-1 overall and 5-2-1 in conference play.
Slippery Rock's Brooke Testa broked a 0-0 stalemate in the 28th minute, scoring from the far right of the box to give the home team a 1-0 lead. Kaitlyn Barackman gave SRU a 2-0 lead just moments later, finding the back of the net off of a long pas from midfield. Late in the 79th minute, it was Seton Hill's
Katie Kimmich who scored an unassisted goal to give the Griffins some life. However, the late push wouldn't be enough as Slippery Rock held on for the 2-1 win.

Seton Hill will look to get back to their winning ways when they welcome Shippensburg University to Dick's Sporting Goods Field on Saturday, September 30th for a 3:30 PM showdown.
