MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - The Seton Hill University men's soccer team fell to #15 Millersville University, 1-0, Friday afternoon at Pucillo Field on the campus of Millersville University in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference action.
The loss puts SHU's record at 3-3-1 (0-2-0 PSAC). Millersville improves to 5-0-1 overall (1-0-0 PSAC).
Matteo Adiletta scored the only goal of the game when he found the back of the net in the 73rd minute of the game off of a Jaxon Burns assist. Seton Hill would amp up the offensive pressure, but it wasn't enough as the Marauders held on to win it, 1-0.Â
On the day, Millersville outshot Seton Hill 18-6 (7-2 on goal). The Marauders held a 10-3 advantage in corner kicks, and the two teams combined for 23 fouls. Seton Hill's
Austin Iddon had six saves in all 90 minutes played in the net. Darian McCauley had two of his own for Millersville.
The Griffins will look to get back on track when they take on California University of Pennsylvania on Sunday, September 24th. That match is set for 3:30 PM.Â
