GREENSBURG, Pa. - The Seton Hill University softball team fell to Edinboro, 5-0, in game one before rebounding to win game two, 10-3, in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference action on Sunday afternoon at the SHU Softball Field.
The split moves Seton Hill's overall record to 8-15 overall and 1-3 in the PSAC. Edinboro is now 9-8 on the season and 1-1 in conference play.
After being shutout in the opener, the Griffins finally broke the scoring drought in the third inning of game two when a

Allison Kapoll came in to pinch-run.  LaGrou followed with a single of her own to put runners at first and second and
Shannon Horan would come in to pinch-run for her. Jackie Palmer's sacrifice bunt moved Horan and Kapoll to second and third.
Danelle Locke's single over the third base would score Kapoll and advance Horan to third.
Brooke Bower, pinch-running for Locke, advanced to second during the next at-bat via a passed ball, and
Victoria Stock singled to load the bases.
Christiana Skrabak's single to left field scored Bower and Horan to give SHU a 4-3 lead.
Seton Hill would tack on insurance runs in the sixth.
Abbie Thrower started with a lead-off single.
Ashley Boehm, pinch-running for Thrower, advanced to second via a wild pitch. Perillo's single then scored Boehm to put SHU ahead, 5-3. After Horan's single advanced Perillo to third,
Paige Hertzog's sac bunt put Horan in scoring position and Bower was hit by the first pitch of her at-bat to load the bases. After an Edinboro pitching change,
Victoria Stock singled through the right side, scoring Perillo and advancing Bower and Horan. Two at-bats later, Skrabak was hit by a pitch on an 0-2 count, scoring Bower, and
Abbey Suhoski's double to left field plated three to give the Griffins the cushion they needed en route to the 10-3 win.
