The Griffin tennis team returned to PSAC play this weekend with a pair of matches. SHU was able to sweep the matches at home with a 9-0 win over Clarion on Saturday evening and a 6-3 win over Slippery Rock on Sunday afternoon. Seton Hill improves to 8-8 overall and 2-2 in PSAC play.

Paula Carvajalino and
Madison DeBone opened the match with an 8-1 win. The doubles team of
Jenna Bailey/
Kaelyn Zak followed with an 8-0 win and
Diana Carvajalino/
Ana Salazar took their match by an 8-2 score. Paula won her singles match 6-2, 6-3. Diana took her's 6-1, 6-3. DeBone dominated her match winning 6-0, 6-0. Zak was nearly perfect winning 6-1, 6-0. Bailey also put up a clean sheet with a 6-0, 6-0 win. Salazar wrapped up the clean sweep with a 6-2, 6-2 win.
SHU won two of the three doubles matches on Sunday against Slippery Rock. Zak/Bailey won their match 8-2 and the team of
Diana Carvajalino/Salazar took their match by a score of 8-4. Diana won her singles match by the score of 6-1, 6-1 as SHU took four of the six singles matches. DeBone finished off her opponent by the score of 6-2, 6-3. Zak finished off her match by the score of 6-2, 6-1 and Bailey closed out the match with a 6-3, 6-2 win.
The Griffins will return to action on April 9th when they take on California (PA).
