Ashley Curnow had two shots, but the Griffin's offensive struggles continued in a 4-0 defeat to #2 ranked East Stroudsburg in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon at Dick's Sporting Goods Field in Greensburg.
With the loss, Seton Hill now sits at 3-11 overall and 0-6 in the PSAC. East Stroudsburg improves to 11-3 overall on the season and 4-2 in PSAC play.
East Stroudsburg received a goal from Gace Martini (20:55) followed by three more by Bailey Quinn (24:43, 38:23, 62:16) as the Warriors controlled the ball for most of the match. For the game, the Griffins were outshot by a 17-3 margin. ESU had 15 penalty corners with Seton Hill coming away with six.
Jane Eberhardt had three saves in just over 38 minutes played in the net.
Alexandra Piekarz grabbed four saves in relief of Eberhardt.
The Griffins travel to Shippensburg, Pa to take on the Raiders of Shippensburg University on Tuesday, October 17th. That match is scheduled to start at 4:00 PM.
