Seton Hill continues its season opening two game road trip with a game in Vienna, WV against the Ohio Valley Fighting Scots. The Griffins used a pair of goals less than 30 seconds into each half for the 2-1 win. With the win, the Griffins improve to 2-0 on the season.
The Griffins wasted no time getting on the scoreboard in the first half as they scored just 29 seconds into the contest.

Curtis Gallagher who deposited the ball into the back of the net, giving the Griffins the quick 1-0 lead. The rest of the first half was played pretty evenly as each team fired six shots.
Austin Iddon recorded 2 saves in net for the Griffins in the half.
The second half was the same as the first half with the Griffins scoring quickly again. This time it only took 16 seconds as

Rory McKinnon's goal to extend the SHU lead to 2-0. 18 seconds later OVU hit the post. OVU finally got on the scoreboard in the 85th minute to cut the SHU lead to 2-1. The Griffin defense then stiffened and did not give up a shot the rest of the way, preserving the SHU victory.

SHU will open up PSAC play on Wednesday when they host California (PA) at 4 PM.
