SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - The Seton Hill University women's volleyball team defeated Dominican College out of the East Coast Conference in straight sets (25-16, 25-16, 25-14) to open up the 2016 season at Shippensburg University on Friday, September 2nd.

Seton Hill (1-0, 0-0 PSAC) has not lost a season opener since falling 3-1 to Point Park University at the start of the 2012-13 season.

Katie Wenson led SHU with eight kills in the match. Jillian Livorse had six while Leah Bisignani had five. Cassie Hausfled and Danielle Nese had two aces apeice. Hannah Moeller led the Griffins with 14 digs, and Brynn Fleury had topped the team in assists with 14.

Seton Hill continues play at the Raider Classic at 5:30 PM when they take on Southern New Hampshire University. Live Stats will be available HERE.
