BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - Sophomore goalkeeper
Jessica Neill posted her second shutout of the season as the Seton Hill University women's soccer team battled Bloomsburg University to a 0-0 draw in double overtime in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference play on Saturday, September 17th.
The draw puts Seton Hill's record at 1-3-2 on the season. Bloomsburg evens their record to 2-2-2 overall.
For the game, the two squads pelted the net for an even 26 shots (13-13), 17 of those total shots being on-goal. Seton Hill outshot Bloomsburg, 5-4, between the two overtime sessions, but neither side could find the back of the net over the course of the 110-minute contest.
Neill had 10 saves in goal for SHU, brining total saves to 31 on the year. Devon Haviland grabbed seven saves in the effort for the homestanding Huskies.
Seton Hill travels to Clarion, Pa. to take on Clarion University on Wednesday, September 21st. Game-time is set for 7:00 PM.
