Seton Hill was able to keep their PSAC Postseason hopes alive with a pair of road wins at Edinboro on Tuesday afternoon. The Griffins won game one by a 5-2 score and completed the sweep with a 7-3 win in game two. SHU is now 14-24 overall and 7-9 in PSAC West action. SHU is now in fourth place in the west, one game behind third place Slippery Rock.
The Griffins took an early lead in game one.
Monica Joseph led off the game reaching on an error.
Caitlin Tobin reached on a bunt base hit with Joseph getting thrown out at the plate.
Ashley Perillo followed with a two run homer to center field giving the Griffins a 2-0 lead.
Abbey Suhoski increased the SHU lead to 3-0 in the third inning when she drove in Joseph who reached on an error. Edinboro got one run back in the bottom of the third inning. The Scots trimmed the lead to 3-2 in the bottom of the sixth inning. SHU added two insurance runs in the top of the seventh. Joseph led off the inning with a single. Tobin singled to put runners on first and second. After two outs,
Carlee Wickstrom walked to load the bases.
Victoria Stock doubled in two runs to give SHU a 5-2 lead.
Kaitlyn Kutchman earned her ninth win of the year with a complete game. She gave up 6 hits and struck out 2.

Edinboro took a quick 2-0 lead in the first inning of game two. The Griffins got one of those runs back in the third inning.
Jacqui Palmer doubled to open the inning.
Shannon Horan pinch ran for Palmer and Joseph singled to put runners on first and third. Tobin reached on a bunt to load the bases. Perillo then knocked in Horan with a sacrifice fly. The Scots increased their lead to 3-1 in the fourth inning.
SHU scored four runs in the sixth to take a 5-3 lead. Stock doubled to lead off the inning. Hertzog singled in Stock, cutting the lead to 3-2.
Michaela LeDonne drew a walk and Palmer knocked in a run with a bunt. Joseph's single gave the Griffins a 4-3 lead and Perillo's RBI ground out pushed the Griffin lead to 5-3. LeDonne and Joseph each added RBIs in the seventh inning that closed out the scoring.
Tiffany Edwards earned the win in relief. She went 2.2 shutout innings to get the win. Tiffany gave up 4 hits and struck out 3.
Monica Joseph went 4-5 and drove in two.
Paige Hertzog added 3 hits and
Abbey Suhoski finished with 2 hits.
Seton Hill will return to action on Friday when they travel to first place California (PA).
