ANNAPOLIS, Md - The Seton Hill women's lacrosse team fell to #8 Florida Southern in non-conference action at Al Laramore Field on the campus of Annapolis High School in Annapolis, Md.
The Griffins slip to 6-8 overall. Florida Southern, playing out of the Sunshine State Athletic Conference, improves to 11-3 on the year.
Savannah Monroe led the SHU offense with two goals. Monroe has now scored 10 goals in the last three games.
Renee Kania and
Emily Fagan added one apiece in the effort.
Mackenzie Kilduff came away with one assist. Seton Hill goalkeeper
Meghan Hollar grabbed 10 saves in the loss.
Ashley Robertson, Kendall Kerge, and Casey O'Brien all score two goals for Florida Southern. Emily Santoli, Shannon Gilfedder, and Dani Bursinger each added a goal for the Mocs. Taylor Gillis picked up the win, registering four saves in the game.
Seton Hill returns to PSAC play on Saturday, April 16th when they host West Chester University at Dick's Sporting Goods Field. That game is scheduled to start at 1:00 PM.
