GREENSBURG, Pa. -
Emily Fagan and
Alessandra Nicholas scored four goals apiece as Seton Hill University defeated Millersville, 18-13, in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference women's lacrosse action on Saturday at Dick's Sporting Goods Field.
The win moves Seton Hill to 2-6 (1-3 PSAC) for the 2016 season. Millersville drops to 5-4 (2-3 PSAC).
Fagan and Nicholas led the Griffins with four goals each.
Katelyn Cressman and
Renee Kania scored three goals apiece.
Alexis Petrarca and
Nellie Phillips put in two goals apiece themselves to round out the SHU scoring. Kania added a game-high four assists.
Meghan Hollar picked up the win while grabbing eight saves on the day.
Bridget Hufnagel scored a game-high five goals in the loss for Millersville. Taylor Davis added three while Renee Landis added two more. Abby Mack, Sabrina Fusco, and Callie Kavanaugh each added goals in the game. Bryana Weston-Wyatt picked up the loss and grabbed six saves.
Seton Hill will next travel to Indiana University (PA) on Tuesday, March 29th. That game is set for a 4:30 PM start.
