Seton Hill hosted Mercyhurst in a PSAC West doubleheader on Sunday afternoon in a set of makeup games from Saturday. The Griffins rallied with 7 runs in the bottom of the seventh inning for a 9-6 walk off victory in game one. SHU rallied for an 11-9 win in game two to complete the sweep. SHU is now 15-5 overall and 3-1 in PSAC West action.
The Lakers jumped on starter
Joe Shaffer for three runs on three hits in the top of the first inning. SHU responded with two runs in their half of the first inning. After an out,
Anthony Fanelli singled to right.
Zac Heide then drew a walk. Both runners moved up on a balk.
Chris Miller then cut the Lakers lead to 3-2 with a two RBI single to center field.
Mercyhurst added three more runs in the top of the fourth inning to increase their lead to 6-2.
Sam Vilk drew a one out walk to start the rally.
Mark Colella followed with a single to right.
Garret Vrbanic was hit by a pitch to load the bases. After a strikeout, Tyler Sulivan cleared the bases with a double. Fanelli put runners on first and third with an infield single. Heide walked to lead the bases and Miller ended the game with a walk off grand slam on a 1-1 pitch, giving the Griffins a 9-6 victory.
Tyler Morder earned his third win of the season, going 3.2 shutout innings. He gave up 2 hits and struck out 3.

Chris Miller each had two hits.
Mercyhurst took a 2-0 lead in the first inning of game two. SHU responded with two of their own in the first inning. Fanelli hit a solo homer with one out and Colella drove in a run with a fielders choice. The Lakers retook the lead with two runs in the top of the third.
The Lakers added 3 runs in the fourth to take a 7-2 lead. SHU battled back with two runs in the bottom of the fourth.
Thayne Mitrik drove in a run with a double and Fanelli added an RBI with a single.
Seton Hill retook the lead with 5 runs in the fifth inning. Miller led off with a solo homer. Vilk, Mitrik and Sullivan each drove in runs and the Griffins added their 9
th run on a Laker error. Mercyhurst got one back in the sixth to cut the lead to 9-8.
Colton Carney's two out, two RBI double drove in two insurance runs in the bottom of the sixth.
Nicholas Behm earned the win in relief.
Jesse Cooper earned his second save.
Anthony Fanelli led the offense with 3 hits.

Thayne Mitrik each had two hits.
SHU will return to action on Tuesday with a nonconference game against Shippensburg.
