2016 (Sophomore)
appeared in 25 games, making 3 starts . . . hit .242 with 2 doubles and 7 RBI . . . scored 2 runs . . . drove in two runs with a pinch hit hit vs Notre Dame (OH) during spring break in Florida

Before SHU
Vilk captained the Mentor Cardinals to a 23-6 record in 2013, which included a District Championship and Regional runner-up finish in Ohio Division I.  He was a first-team Northern Ohio Conference selection hitting .328 with 24 RBI.  In 2013, Vilk hit .394 with 23 RBI for the Northern Ohio Baseball Club.  NO went 30-14 and captured the CABA National Championship
