Taylor's Last Second Three Buries Gannon, 59-57

GREENSBURG, PA. - The Seton Hill University men's basketball team used a Kameron Taylor buzzer-beating three to defeat Gannon University in a pivotal PSAC game inside of the McKenna Center on Wednesday night, 59-57.

The Griffins, who swept the season-series with Gannon, improve to 10-12 overall and 8-10 in the PSAC. The Golden Knights fall to 6-16 overall and 5-14 in conference play.

Trevor Blondin led Seton Hill with 16 points on 6-of-16 from the field and 4-of-7 from three. Taylor, who's game-winner marked the second time the senior has lifted the Griffins to a win this season, scored 14 points on 5-of-11 from the floor. Spencer Casson registered a double-double 11 points and 13 rebounds.

Matthew Dogan led the Golden Knights with a game-high 17 points. Jean Yves Toupane had 12 points, and Ian Gardner finished with 11 points in the loss.

Seton Hill made a total of 22 out of 57 shots in the game for 38.6%. The team was 8-for-26 (30.8%) from long-range and just 7-of-9 from the foul line. Gannon was 23-of-56 (41.1%) from the floor, including 7-of-13 from distance. The Golden Knights were just 4-of-8 from the line.

The Griffins return to action on Saturday when they host California (PA). Tip-off for that game is set for 3:00 PM.
