ERIE, Pa. - The Seton Hill University men's soccer team used a strong second half to take down #17 Gannon University, 2-1, in PSAC men's soccer action on Saturday, October 8th in Erie, Pa.
Seton Hill, now riding a three-game win streak and winners of four out of their last five games, improves to 8-4 overall and 5-2 in the PSAC. Gannon, who drops a contest for the first time in their last five outings, falls to 8-3-1 overall and 4-2-1 in conference play.

Louis Mason and drilled a shot from 40 yards out that snuck under the crossbar in the 51st minute. Gannon would strike back in the 66th minute when Hamza Mourchid scored his 16th goal of the season, this time via a penalty kick, to even the score at 1-1. However,Â

Louis Mason assist found the back of the net, and SHU held on for the 2-1 win.
For the game, Seton Hill outshot Gannon, 12-9 (6-4 on-goal). Gannon held a decisive advantage in corner kicks, 7-0.
Austin Iddon grabbed three saves for the Griffins in 90:00 played in goal, while Hernandez had four saves for the Golden Knights.
Seton Hill returns to action on Monday, October 10th when they step out of conference play to travel to Salem, WV to take on the Tigers of Salem International University. That game is scheduled for a 3:00 PM start.
