Seton Hill made the long road trip to take on #6 Bloomsburg on Saturday afternoon in PSAC action. Bloomsburg scored once in the first half and added four more in the second half for a 5-0 win. SHU falls to 2-9 overall and 0-4 in PSAC action.
Neither team was able to score in the first 20 minutes of the contest. Bloomsburg finally got on the scoreboard at the 20:57 mark of the first half. The Huskies took that 1-0 lead into the halftime break. Bloomsburg held a 6-1 advantage in shots in the first half. Jane Eberhart recorded two saves in the cage.
Molly Childress had the Griffins shot on goal in the half.
Just 2:36 into the second half, the Huskies extended their lead to 2-0. With just under 20 minutes to play in the game, Bloomsburg found the back of the cage to increase their lead to 3-0. The Huskies then scored twice in less than a minute to push their lead to 5-0 late in the second half.
Eberhart finished the game with 3 saves.
SHU will take on Queens on Tuesday at Millersville.
