Seton Hill took a break from PSAC play on Tuesday afternoon with a neutral site game against Queens University at Millersville. Each team scored first half goals and did not score again sending the game to a penalty shootout to decide the winner. SHU went 0-5 in the penalty shootout while Queens scored on their fourth attempt for a 2-1 win. SHU drops to 2-10 after the loss while Queens improves to 5-5.
Queens took a 1-0 lead in the 15th minute when they intercepted a pass, dribbled upfield and scored with a shot from the right side. Less than eight minutes later the Griffins tied the score at one.
Ashley Curnow followed up a shot by
Dominique Cappello to tie the score at one. Queens held a 9-6 advantage in shots in the first half.
Neither team was able to score in the second half as Queens outshot the Griffins by a 10-7 margin. Both keepers played really well as they combined for 13 saves in the half. The teams were even with 4 shot each in the first overtime period with neither team scoring. Both teams managed two shots in the second overtime period with no goals sending the game into a penalty shootout.

Seton Hill returns to PSAC action on Wednesday when they host Slippery Rock at 4 PM.
