Griffins Give Up Late Goal on Corner and Fall 2-1

Seton Hill closed out its regular season road games with a trip to Mansfield on Saturday afternoon.  SHU gave up a goal on a penalty corner after time expired in the second half to drop a 2-1 decision to Mansfield.  SHU falls to 2-14 overall and 0-8 in PSAC play.

Mansfield opened the scoring 8:01 into the first half.  SHU tied the score at one just over three minutes later.  Ashley Curnow finished a pass from Dominique Cappello in the box and beat the keeper on the right side. 

Neither team was able to score in the second half until after the final whistle sounded.  Mansfield used a penalty corner to score the game winner at the 70:00 mark. 

Jane Eberhardt finished the game with 5 saves. 

SHU returns home to take on Mercyhurst on Wednesday afternoon.
