EAST STOUDSBURG, Pa. - The Seton Hill University men's soccer team suffered a 3-1 loss at East Stroudsburg University in conference action on Saturday, October 15th.
The loss drops SHU to 8-6 overall and 5-3 in PSAC play. East Stroudsburg improves to 6-6-1 on the season and 4-4-1 in the PSAC.
Tom Urquhart gave Seton Hill the early lead, scoring in the 18th minute off of a
Curtis Gallagher assist. However, Christian Bukowski had SHU's number on the day, scoring the equalizer in the 22nd minute and the go-ahead goal in the 43rd. Irvin Zuzic tacked on an insurance goal in the 53rd to round out the scoring for the game.
For the game, ESU outshot SHU by a 14-9 margin (5-5 on-goal). SHU held a 6-3 advantage in corner kicks. The Griffins were called for offsides twice.
Seton Hill is scheduled to visit Slippery Rock University on October 19th before coming home on October 22nd to battle Millersville University.Â
