EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. - The Seton Hill University women's field hockey team fell on the road at #2 East Stroudsburg, 5-1, in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon.
With the loss, Seton Hill slips to just 2-12 on the season and 0-6 in PSAC play. East Stroudsburg improves to 12-3 overall and 6-1 in the PSAC.
Alesha Herman scored the lone goal for the Griffins when she intercepted an errant ESU pass and beat the goalkeeper in a one on one situation. The Warriors received two goals from Bailey Quinn. Kelli Shapiro, Makenna Marhefka, and Sydney McCarthy all scored one apiece in the match.
Seton Hill returns home on Saturday, October 22nd to take on Millersville University. That game is scheduled for a 2:30 PM start.
