Seton Hill closed out their play against the PSAC Southeast Division on Saturday afternoon with a matchup at East Stroudsburg. The Griffins swept the Warriors to complete a four match sweep of the PSAC Southeast Division. SHU improves to 12-4 overall and 4-0 in PSAC play while ESU is now 8-9 overall and 0-4 in PSAC action.
The Griffins came out fast and took the first set by a 25-19 score. SHU took a 2-0 lead after a 25-22 win in the second set. The Griffins closed out the match with a 25-19 win in the third set.
Cassie Hausfeld led the Griffins with 13 kills.
Katie Wenson and
Leah Bisignani each added 8 kills in the win.
Taylor Sabol added 6 from the setter position. Sabol finished with a match high 37 assists. Bisignani and
Rachel Satira each had 3 blocks.
Mary Baich finished with a match high 14 digs.
SHU will now move to the Northwest Division in the next round of play as they will host Slippery Rock on Friday evening at 7 PM.
