The Seton Hill Griffins traveled to Carnegie Mellon University on Friday, September 18, 2015. The win went to CMU after a tough 9-0 loss against the perennial power that finished in the top eight nationally at the NCAA team championship in the 2014-2015 season.
The No. 1 singles competition was a nail biter. The match went back and forth and both players were determined .The first set went to Nicholle Torres (CMU) with the score being 6-3. Seton Hill's
Isidora Knezevic came back stronger and desiring more success, won the next set 4-6. Nicholle Torres (CMU), with the score of 11-9, won the third and final set.

Even though the outcome was not in the Griffins' favor, the loss was to a great program that has reached the NCAA Round of 16 or better every year since 2008, finishing in the top ten nationally all but one of the seven years.
The Seton Hill women's tennis team will take the court Friday, October 2, 2015 at 4pm for their next match at Shippensburg University for their first team PSAC competition of the season.
