Seton Hill hosted Alderson Broaddus in a non conference matchup at Dick's Sporting Goods Field on Monday afternoon. Alderson Broaddus scored once in the first half and added two goals in the second half for a 3-1 win. SHU drops to 2-5-1 overall.
The Griffins had two early corner kicks in the first half but could not capitalize on them. Alderson Broaddus got on the scoreboard in the 17
th minute on a penalty kick goal.
Seton Hill had two early shots in the second half but the AB keeper was on top of his game, making two saves. The Battlers extended their lead to 2-0 in the 52
nd minute with a goal from inside the box into the left hand corner of the net. AB increased the lead to 3-0 with a goal in the 88
th minute. SHU found the back of the net in the last second of the game when
Seon Ripley scored on a header off a corner kick from
Joe Smith.
Cameron Evans recorded 3 saves in net.
SHU returns to PSAC play next Tuesday when they travel to Pitt Johnstown.
