Box Score Seton Hill traveled to Lock Haven University for their first ever PSAC Tournament semifinal as they took on the #1 seed and #1 team in the nation the Bald Eagles. The Bald Eagles controlled play and stayed perfect with a 17-5 win. SHU is eliminated from the tournament and is 14-5 overall.
Lock Haven scored the opening goal of the game just 1:50 into the contest. The Bald Eagles then added two more goals to extend their lead to 3-0 at 17:36 on a free position shot. LHU added another free position shot goal at 16:22 to push their lead to 4-0.
Keagan Pontious won the next draw control and
Emma Simmers scored from
Renee Kania to cut the lead to 4-1 with 16:08 to play. Lock Haven added two more goals to push the lead to 6-1 with just under 6 minutes to play in the half. The Bald Eagles added another goal to take a 7-1 lead. Lock Haven scored again to take an 8-1 lead into the halftime break.
Emily Fagan scored twice and
Emma Simmers added a goal in the second half but Lock Haven continued to lead 13-4 with less than 20 minutes to play in the second half. Kania scored to cut the lead to 14-5 with 17:30 to play in the half. Lock Have scored the final three goals of the half to stay perfect with a 17-4 win.
Emily Fagan led the Griffins with 3 goals.
