Box Score Greensburg, PA- The Seton Hill women's lacrosse team dismantled the Kutztown Beats 17-7 at Dick's Sporting Goods Field on Saturday afternoon. The Griffins are now 7-3 overall and 4-2 on PSAC play.

Emma Simmers each netted five goals in the Griffins' 17-7 victory. Keegan Pontious,
Emily Fagan, and
Tristen Hanke each scored two goals and
Nellie Phillips added one.

The Griffins scored the first goal of the game but quickly lost the lead as Kutztown netted two goals for a one-goal lead. Kutztown held their one and only lead of the game for 7:03 in the first half. A goal by Fagan took back the lead 14:41 in the fist half for Seton Hill.

The Griffins led by 4 goals at halftime. The score was 8-4. After half the Griffin offense rolled. Seton Hill scored seven unanswered goals that smothered the Golden bears and put on the running clock. The Griffins scored nine goals in the second half. The Seton Hill defense played excellent allowing only three goals facing 19 shots.

The Griffins outshot the Golden Bears 40-30 throughout the contest.
Meghan Hollar and
Melanie Morgret added 10 saves for the Griffins. Seton Hill won 16-of-26 draw controls.
