Box Score Seton Hill traveled to Indiana (PA) on Saturday afternoon with fourth place and a PSAC home playoff contest on the line. The Griffins outscored the Crimson Hawks 7-3 in the second half to pull away for a 13-7 victory. SHU finishes the regular season with a 13-4 overall record and a 9-3 mark in PSAC play good for fourth place and a home PSAC quarterfinal on Tuesday afternoon.
IUP scored the first two goals of the contest and led 2-0 with 23:43 left in the half. The Griffins then answered with four straight goals over a 10 minute stretch to take a 4-2 lead.
Emma Simmers opened the SHU scoring and
Emily Fagan and
Renee Kania followed with two goals to give SHU its first lead at 3-2 with 18:18 to play.
Tristen Hanke increased the lead to 4-2 with 13:05 to play. IUP then cut the lead to 4-3 before
Keagan Pontious and Hanke scored within two minutes to build the lead back to 6-3. IUP scored with 3:51 to play in the half to cut the lead to 6-4 at the halftime break.
The Griffins opened the second half by scoring the first three goals and increasing their lead to 9-4. Simmers opened the scoring and
Alessandra Nicholas followed with a goal from
Christine Palmeri before Palmeri scored from Simmers to give SHU a 9-4 lead with 22:47 left in the half. IUP scored the next two goals to trim the lead to 9-6 with 12:49 to play in the half. Fagan and Simmers then scored back to back to increase the SHU lead back to five at 11-6 with 8:18 to play. Kania and Pontious assisted on the goals. After IUP got one back, Simmers and Pontious closed out the scoring. Kania assisted on Simmers fourth.

Renee Kania finished with 1 goal and 3 assists.
Meghan Hollar recorded 13 saves in cage for the win.
The Griffins will host IUP in a rematch on Tuesday afternoon at 4 PM in the PSAC Quarterfinal matchup with the winner advancing to face #1 seed and semifinal host Lock Haven on Friday.
