Box Score 2 Seton Hill traveled to Erie, PA to close out their regular season with doubleheaders against Mercyhurst and Gannon. The Griffins opened the trip and put their 14 game winning streak on the line with a doubleheader at Mercyhurst. The Lakers one hit the Griffins and won game one by a 2-0 score to end the Griffins winning streak. Mercyhurst then completed the sweep with a 9-7 victory over the Griffins in game two. SHU falls to 29-10-1 overall and 21-8-1 in PSAC West play.

Victoria Stock singled for the Griffins only hit of the contest. The Lakers took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second with a solo home run. Mercyhurst increased their lead to 2-0 in the bottom of the third inning.
Christine Henderson suffered the loss, going the distance. She gave up 2 runs on 4 hits while striking out 5.
Mercyhurst took a 3-0 lead in bottom of the first when they scored three runs on just one hit. SHU cut the lead to 3-1 in the third on a solo homer by
Carlee Wickstrom. The Lakers got that run right back with a solo homer in the bottom of the third inning. Mercyhurst scored two more unearned runs in the bottom of the fourth to take a 6-1 lead. Wickstrom hit her second homer of the game to trim the Laker lead to 6-2 in the top of the fifth.
Christine Henderson doubled to lead off the sixth and scored when
Lauren Sauerwein hit a two run homer to cut the lead to 6-4. The Lakers increased their lead to 9-4 with a three run homer in the bottom of the sixth. The Griffins tried to rally in the seventh. After a groundout to lead off the seventh,
Delaney Cortazzo doubled. Wickstrom walked and Cortazzo stole third base.
Victoria Stock singled to score Cortazzo. Henderson followed with a 2 RBI single that scored Wickstrom and Stock and cut the lead to 9-7. A strikeout and a ground out ended the threat and the ballgame.
Amanda Huff was the hard luck loser. She went 4 innings, giving up 6 runs with only one of them being earned.
Christine Henderson had 3 hits for the Griffins.
