Box Score 2 Seton Hill hosted Edinboro on Thursday afternoon and danced around the raindrops to get the games in. The Scots took game one by an 8-6 score. Game two was called after 7 innings with the score tied at 1. It will go into the books as a 1-1 tie. SHU is now 15-6-1 overall and 7-4-1 in PSAC West play.
Edinboro took a 1-0 lead in the top of the second on an unearned run. The Scots extended the lead to 3-0 in the top of the third inning on a two RBI double. SHU cut the lead to 3-1 on an RBI single from
Lauren Sauerwein in the bottom of the third. Edinboro increased their lead to 4-1 in the fourth. SHU tied the score at four in their half of the fourth.
Delaney Cortazzo singled to lead off the inning. After a sac bunt,
Carlee Wickstrom drew a walk. Both scored on a triple from
Victoria Stock. Stock then scored on a throwing error. SHU took a 5-4 lead when
Paige Hertzog scored on an
Erika Arriola triple. The Scots hit two home runs in the seventh to take an 8-5 lead. Sauerwein tripled and scored on an Arriola single in the seventh to close out the scoring.
Amanda Huff suffered the loss.
Victoria Stock led the offense with 3 hits.

Erika Arriola each had two hits.
Edinboro took a 1-0 lead with a solo homer in the top of the second inning. The Griffins tied the game at one in the third on an unearned run when
Victoria Stock scored after a Scots error.
Christine Henderson went all 7 innings, giving up 1 run on 7 hits and striking out 10.
Carlee Wickstrom added 2 hits.
The Griffins are scheduled to play Mercyhurst on Friday afternoon.
