Box Score Greensburg, PA- Kania and Simmers combine for 12 points as the Seton Hill women's lacrosse team defeated Bloomsburg University 14-6 on Tuesday afternoon. The Griffins move on to a 9-4 overall record and 6-2 in PSAC play.

Christine Palmeri netted the first goal only 2:27 into the game. After Bloomsburg tied it up 1-1, a goal from
Tristen Hanke and a pair from
Emma Simmers increased the Griffin lead to 4-1. The Bloomsburg Huskies ended the run with one of their own to decrease the Griffin lead to just two with 20:11 left in the first half.

Then a pair of goals from
Emily Fagan and
Renee Kania took Seton Hill to a four-goal advantage at 17:39. Seton Hill and Bloomsburg traded two goals each to close out the first half. The Griffins hit the halftime break up 8-4 over the Huskies.

Seton Hill's defense held the Huskies to only two goals in the second half. Five different Griffins scored in the second half including Kania who added two more goals of her own. Kania and
Emma Simmers ended the game with six points each. They both added 3 goals and 3 assists.

Meghan Hollar played the entire 60 minutes with a new season high of 11 saves and added 7 groundballs and 3 caused turnovers.

The Griffins outshot the Huskies 39-20, for their second highest shot output this season. The Griffins also shut down the Huskies' passing offense by not allowing any assisted goals through out the game.

Ten of Seton Hill's fourteen goals against Bloomsburg were assisted. 61% of goals scored by the Seton Hill offense this season are assisted goals.
