The women's tennis team closed out their 2015 home schedule with a PSAC West battle with Edinboro on Friday afternoon at the Greensburg Raquet Club.  The Griffins won two of the three doubles matches and clinched the victory with three singles victories.  SHU improves to 9-7 overall and 2-3 in PSAC West action.

The #1 doubles team of Megan Hudak and Paula Carvajalino won a hard fought 9-7 decision.  The #2 doubles team of Sara Ruiz and Isidora Knezevic gave SHU a 2-1 lead after doubles with an 8-1 win. 

Hudak won at #1 doubles by the score of 6-3, 6-2.  Knezevic had a clean sweep of her match with a 6-0, 6-0 win.  Alisha Torretti closed out the match and earned the Griffins the team victory with a 6-4, 6-1 win at #6 singles. 

The team will travel to Mercyhurst on Saturday for their final regular season match.
