Seton Hill opened its 2015 season with a pair of games at the Fast Pitch Dreams Tournament in Myrtle Beach, SC.  The Griffins split the two games, winning the opener over Ursuline by a 9-0 score before falling in 8 innings to Alderson Broaddus. 

Amanda Huff pitched six shutout innings in the win over Ursuline.  She took a no hitter into the bottom of the fourth and finished with a two hitter.  Amanda finished the contest with 6 strikeouts.  Christine Henderson was 3-3 in the win.  Paige Hertzog led the SHU offense with a triple in the loss to Alderson Broaddus.  SHU was down 2-0 before rallying to tie the score at two before giving up a run in the eighth inning.

The Griffins will continue their trip with three games on Tuesday.  They will open with a doubleheader against Ohio Valley before playing a single game against Robert Morris College (Ill.)
