The tennis team opened their Florida Spring Break Trip with a match against Winona State on Sunday afternoon.  SHU won 8 of 9 matches for a 8-1 victory.  The Griffins are now 3-2 on the season. 

SHU took all three doubles matches.  The #1 doubles team of Isidora Knezevic/Sara Ruiz won by an 8-5 score.  The team of Megan Hudak/Paula Carvajalino took their match by an 8-1 score.  The team of Chelsea Pence/Alisha Torretti won by default. 

Knezevic won her singles match 6-0, 6-3.  Ruiz took home a 6-3, 6-1 win.  Hudak wom 6-2, 6-0.  Carvajalino won her match 6-3, 6-3 and Torretti won by default.

SHU will take on Florida Southern University at Florida Southern on Monday.
