Zach Hartmann scored four goals and added an assist and
Anthony Peluso went 14-20 on faceoffs for the #8 Griffins 13-4 win over Walsh University on Tuesday evening. The Griffins are now 6-1 and 3-0 in ECAC play.
Walsh jumped out of the start strong by scoring the first goal of the game in the first quarter. The Seton Hill offense then proceeded to go on a 5-goal scoring run in a 16:42 stretch.
Halftime score was 7-2 in favor of the Griffins.
The Griffins padded their five goal lead with goals from
Zack Rusch,
Zach Hartmann, and
Riley Martin to make a score of 10-2 with 9:07 left in game.
Walsh scored their third goal of the game at 8:20 and again the Griffins went on another three-goal run to make the score 13-3 with under 5 minutes to play.
Walsh capped off the game scoring and added their fourth of the game with 1:06 remaining to play.
Final score 13-4 Griffins. Seton Hill earned their third ECAC win of the season.
The Griffin defense was excellent in the win only allowing 4 goals on only 20 shots faced.
