The Griffins played a pair of matches on Wednesday.  SHU took on Bentley in the morning and cruised to a 7-2 victory.  Seton Hill also earned a late night 9-0 victory over Lake Forest College in a match that ended close to midnight.  SHU is now 5-4 on the season.

Singles play opened the Bentley match with SHU taking five of the six matches.  Sara Ruiz won her match 6-2, 6-0.  Megan Hudak earned a 6-0, 6-1 victory.  Isidora Knezevic swept thru her match 6-0, 6-0.  Paula Carvajalino won her match by a 6-3, 6-2 score.  Alisha Torretti then won a marathon match that nearly lasted three hours by the score of 7-5, 4-6, 7-6 (7-5).  The doubles team of Hudak/Carvajalino took home a win at number one doubles 8-5.  The doubles team of Knezevic/Ruiz won their match 8-2.

The number one doubles team of Megan Hudak/Paula Carvajalino opened with an 8-6 victory.  The team of Sara Ruiz/Isidora Knezevic had a clean sweep 8-0 win.  Chelsea Pence/Alisha Torretti completed the doubles sweep with an 8-3 win.  Hudak won a hard fought singles match with a 6-1, 6-7 (11-9), 10-4 win.  Ruiz took her singles match 6-2, 6-1.  Knezevic won a 6-4, 6-4 match.  Carvajalino finished with a 6-3, 6-2 win.  Pence was a 6-2, 6-2 winner.  Torretti took home a 6-3, 6-1 win.

SHU will take on St Cloud State on Thursday.
