Seton Hill continued PSAC West play at Indiana (PA) on Saturday afternoon looking to end a three game losing skid. The Griffins were able to end the three game slide with a sweep of the homestanding Crimson Hawks. SHU improves to 21-12 overall and 12-8 in PSAC play.
The Griffins opened the match with a 25-23 first set win. SHU battled and fought for a hard fought 33-31 second set win for the 2-0 lead. Seton Hill was able to close out the Crimson Hawks with a 25-23 third set win for the sweep.
Cassie Hausfeld led the Griffin offense with 13 kills.
Rachel Satira added 6 kills and
Katie Wenson finished with 5 kills.
Maggie Murray led the Griffins with 4 blocks. Hausfeld and Wenson each added 3.
Brynn Fleury ran the offense with 21 assists.
Lauren Teed had a match high 29 digs. Hausfeld added 15 and Hannah Mueller 14.
Seton Hill will take a break from PSAC West play on Monday at 7 PM when they host Davis & Elkins. SHU will then conclude PSAC West play next weekend when they host Edinboro and Slippery Rock.
