CLARION, Pa. - The Seton Hill University volleyball team fell to Clarion University, 3-1, in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference action on Friday at Clarion University.
Seton Hill University drops to 20-12 overall and 11-8 in the PSAC. Clarion moves to 18-13 overall and 14-5 in the PSAC.
The Griffins dropped the first set, 25-17, before battling back to take the second set, 34-32. SHU trailed 24-18 in the second set but rallied for the second set win. However, the homestanding Clarion Golden Eagles would take the remaining two sets, 25-18 and 25-23.
Shelby Kyllo (Anacortes, WA) led SHU with 14 kills and five (5) blocks. The senior from
Anacortes, WA also added two (2) aces on the night. Cassie Hausfeld (Dublin, OH) added 11 kills and 11 digs for the Griffins. Brynn Fleury (Camden, NC) had five (5) aces.Seton Hill University will take on Indiana University of Pennsylvania on Saturday, November 7th at 2:00 PM.
