The Griffins took part in the Tiffin Thanksgiving Tournament and battled the University of Indianapolis in the opening round on Friday afternoon.  Seton Hill battled the Greyhounds throughout the contest and had the ball at the end of the game trailing by one but a turnover cost the Griffins that chance and they fell by a score of 75-72.  SHU drops to 0-4 on the season.

SHU took an early three point lead at 8-5 on a layup by Spencer Casson four minutes into the conetst.  Two baskets from Noah Davis and one from Kameron Taylor pushed the SHU lead to eight points at 18-11 with 10:39 to play.  Indy then went on a 17-4 run to take a 28-22 lead with just under six minutes to play in the first half.  Taylor hit a three pointer with one minute to play in the half to trim the lead to 32-31 but the Greyhounds hit the final basket of the half and took a 34-31 halftime lead.

Indy scored the first five points of the second half to build their lead to 39-31 early in the second half.  Taylor followed with a layup and Trevor Blondin then hit one of two free throws and drained a three pointer to cut the lead to 39-37 with 18:05 left in the half.  The Greyhounds took their largest lead of the game, 55-46 with 12:29 to play in the second half.  With Indy leading 60-52, the Griffins went on a 9-0 run to take a 61-60 lead with 7:51 left in the half.  Davis had four points during the run.  Davis' three pointer put the Griffins back ahead 66-65 with just over six minutes to play.  UIndy hit one of two free throws to retake a 71-70 lead with 4:14 left in the half.  Casson slammed home a dunk with just under two minutes to play to give SHU a 72-71 lead.  After a Griffin turnover, the Hounds hit a jumper with just over a minute to play and took a 73-72 lead.  SHU missed a three pointer with 41 seconds to play and Indy missed the front end of a one and one with 30 seconds to play giving the Griffins the ball with a chance to win the game.  SHU then turned the ball over on their next possession and the Hounds hit two free throws to take a 75-72 lead with 3 seconds to play.  SHU's last chance launch from midcourt missed.
