Seton Hill continued its PSAC West weekend with a matchup with PSAC West leading Edinboro. SHU was able to win the first set of the match but the Fighting Scots won the final three sets for the 3-1 win. SHU falls to 19-8 overall and 10-5 in PSAC play. Edinboro improves to 25-2 overall and 14-1 in PSAC action.
The Griffins opened the match by taking the first set by a 25-23 score. The Scots took the second set by a 25-18 score. Edinboro took a 2-1 lead with a 25-19 win in the third set and closed out the match with another 25-19 win in the fourth set.
Cassie Hausfeld led the Griffins with 14 kills.
Katie Wenson added 9 kills.
Jenna Sassack led SHU with 4 blocks. Wenson and Hausfeld each added 3 blocks.
Maggie Murray led the offense with 19 assists.
Lauren Teed had a match high 27 digs. Hausfeld added 13.
SHU will host Fairmont State on Tuesday evening at 7 PM.
