MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - The Seton Hill University men's soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision to Millersville University in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon in Millersville, Pa.
With the loss, the Griffins fall to 5-10-1 on the season and 3-6 in the PSAC. Millersville improves to 12-2-1 and 9-1 in PSAC play.
Freshman midfielder
Harry Beattie (Sandbach, PA) got the Griffins on the board first with a rocket past the Marauder goalkeeper in the 61st minute. However, Millersville would tie the game at 1-1 in 65th minute when Chase Flickinger scored, and take the lead just a minute later when Jaime Vazquez found the back of the net en route to the 2-1 win.
Cameron Evans (Sr., Bedfordshire, Great Britain) made six (6) saves on eight (8) shots faced in the match. His record moves to 4-8-1 on the season. MU's Kohl Orner grabbed five (5) shots in the win. The Marauder's held a 14-13 advantage in shots while both teams had two corner kicks apiece.
Seton Hill will travel to Mercyhurst University on October 28th for a 4:00 PM game before finishing out the 2015 regular season at West Chester on October 31st.
