Seton Hill hosted #3 East Stroudsburg at home on Saturday morning. The Warriors proved too strong for the Griffins as they scored twice in the first half and added three more in the second half for the 5-0 victory. SHU falls to 0-11 overall and 0-5 in PSAC play.
East Stroudsburg got on the scoreboard in the 12th minute of the contest when they scored off a rebound to take a 1-0 lead. The Warriors made it 2-0 with 8:11 to play in the half when they scored off a blast from the top of the circle off a corner. ESU held a 16-2 advantage in penalty corners in the first half. East Stroudsburg made it 3-0 with a goal 11:01 into the second half on a blast from the top of the circle. Just over three minutes later the Warriors increased their lead to 4-0. Fourty one seconds later, ESU scored their final goal of the contest and took a 5-0 lead.
Alexandra Piekarz recorded 5 saves in net in the loss.
Seton Hill will host Bloomsburg on Tuesday afternoon.
