Seton Hill hosted Bloomsburg on a cloudy, cool and damp Tuesday afternoon at Dick's Sporting Goods Field. SHU outscored the Huskies 2-0 over the game's final 63 minutes but it was not enough as Bloomsburg held an early 3-0 lead and settled for the 4-2 victory. SHU drops to 0-12 overall and 0-6 in PSAC play.
Bloomsburg did not waste much time getting into the scoring as they found the back of the ney just 1:06 into the contest. Just over three minutes later, the Huskies increased their lead to 2-0. Bloomsburg increased their lead to 3-0 at the 6:37 mark of the first half when they scored after a rebound off a penalty corner. SHU battled back to cut the lead to 3-1 in the 14th minute when
Alesha Herman pounced on a loose ball in front of the net after a
Nicole DeLuca shot and deposited it into the back of the net. The Huskies pushed their lead back to three goals 7:40 into the second half when they scored off a penalty corner. SHU trimmed the lead to 4-2 in the 51st minute when
Molly Childress scored off a Griffin penalty corner.
